About this service

Renovation is not polishing to a shine at any cost. On older jewelry the patina in the recesses is part of how the piece looks, and stripping it makes the work lose depth and look new in the wrong sense. So we start with a conversation about how far you want to go.

As standard we do ultrasonic cleaning, removal of tarnish and polishing of the outer surfaces. Rhodium plating of white gold, which yellows over time, and gilding of silver are quoted separately.

Every piece with stones is checked before handover: ultrasonic cleaning can loosen a stone held by tired prongs, and it is better to learn that here than after losing the stone.
