AEJaCA (Artisan Elegance Jewelry and Crafted Art) is an independent Polish design studio founded in 2023 in JΓ³zefosΕaw near Warsaw. It combines handmade artisanal jewelry (AEJaCA Jewelry) with on-demand digital fabrication - 3D printing, laser engraving and resin casting (AEJaCA sTuDiO). We serve customers in Polish, English and German, and ship worldwide.
Yes. We design and craft one-of-a-kind custom jewelry - engagement rings, wedding bands, necklaces, bracelets and earrings in 925 sterling silver and 14K/18K gold with natural gemstones. We model in 3D (Rhino, Fusion 360) from a sketch or idea, then produce via lost-wax casting with hand finishing.
AEJaCA sTuDiO is on-demand digital fabrication: 3D modeling / CAD of technical and functional parts (Rhino, Fusion 360), FDM/SLA 3D printing, CO2 laser engraving and cutting, fiber-laser marking, resin casting and prototyping. You can upload your own STL/SVG file or commission a model designed from scratch.
You get an online quote in about 30 seconds with AEJaCA's calculators - no waiting for email. Simple mode gives a quick estimate; advanced mode gives full control over metal, stones and finish. For example: a silver ring with a gemstone from β¬95, a 3D-printed keychain from β¬6.
The studio is in JΓ³zefosΕaw near Warsaw and ships worldwide. Within Poland: InPost parcel locker PLN 16.49, courier PLN 19.49, free delivery on orders over PLN 400. We also deliver to the EU, the UK and the USA via DHL Express.

No. BLIK and instant bank transfer are available in zΕoty, and a SEPA transfer for customers settling in euro. Cash on delivery is not available either.
When buying in the shop, in the field under the order summary. When paying for an offer, on the offer page before moving to payment. You see the discount before paying; we never refund it afterwards.
No. A code comes off the order items only and never lowers the delivery cost.
Because we add 8 percent to the National Bank of Poland rate. Several days pass between freezing the amount and the transfer clearing, and the rate moves in the meantime.
Whichever you choose. The language only suggests a currency: English and German start in euro, Polish in zΕoty. You can switch it in the language menu, at checkout and on the offer page, and the choice sticks for your next visit. Currency follows where you keep your money, not what language you read in.
On the offer page, on the shop page or in the cart. All three carry a "Have an offer number?" field. After the number you also confirm the e-mail address the offer was sent to.
Seven days by default, but the date written on your offer is always the one that counts. We set it separately for each one, because on metal pieces a shorter term is often the honest one. Past that date the offer takes no payment and we issue a new one.
Because on metal pieces the labour is binding for the whole validity period, while the metal itself is priced on the day you open the link. We add only the difference caused by the gold or platinum rate moving, never by a change in our own price list. This does not happen on an offer agreed with a person: there the amount is fixed until its expiry date.
That before we start we need something settled with you: a size, a pattern, the letters on a signet, a material. The order page names the item in question. The lead time does not run during that wait, so answering us does not eat into your date. Once agreed, we write down in one sentence what we settled on, and you see the same sentence.
Yes, at the stages that matter: when the order joins the queue and the clock starts, when someone picks it up, when it is finished and when it leaves. We do not email on every move inside the workshop, because your inbox is not our work log. The current state is always on your order page.
Open the order page and give the number together with the e-mail address the confirmation went to. The number starts with AE. The number alone is not enough, because the page shows your address and what you ordered.
If the change comes from something agreed with you, we record the new date together with the day we agreed it, and it shows on your order page. If the delay is on our side, we contact you ourselves.
You get a confirmation e-mail and a private link to the status page. It shows the stage of the work and, once shipped, the tracking number. We work in the order payments arrived.
What binds us is the number of days written on your offer or order confirmation, counted in calendar days. As a rough guide, with materials in stock: jewelry up to 7 working days, sTuDiO 3-5 working days. Ordering material in adds 3-7 days, and components made to specification another 7-14. For an order that needs no agreeing, the clock starts at payment; for one that does, only once everything is agreed. You see the exact date and the days remaining on your own order page. That date is the planned completion: the day we finish the work and hand the parcel to the carrier or have it ready for collection, with transit counted from it. With several items in one order the longest of their times applies, because one parcel goes out.
However you chose when ordering: an InPost locker, a courier or personal pickup in JΓ³zefosΕaw. Once posted, the tracking number appears on your order page and in the message. For a personal pickup we agree a time.
Within Poland: InPost courier from β¬4, InPost parcel locker from β¬4, and personal pickup in the Warsaw area is free. Orders over β¬100 ship free within Poland.
Yes. Shipping to the EU from β¬24β33, usually 5β10 business days. We use InPost where available, otherwise DHL.
By express courier (DHL, UPS, FedEx), typically 5β10 business days. Cost depends on weight: up to 5 kg β¬45, up to 10 kg β¬45, 20β30 kg β¬45. Since Brexit, parcels clear customs.
DHL Express by air worldwide, including the USA and Asia, typically 5β18 business days. Cost: up to 1 kg β¬92, up to 10 kg β¬92.
Shipments outside the EU (including the UK, USA, Asia) may be subject to customs duties and import taxes charged by the destination country. These are paid by the recipient and are not included in the shipping price.
Yes, on one condition: the sheet has to print at 100% scale. βFit to pageβ shrinks it by a few percent, which on a finger circumference is worth one to two sizes. That is why the sheet carries a payment-card rectangle and a 100 mm ruler to check against.
In the evening. Fingers are up to half a size slimmer in the morning, and after exercise, in heat or in the cold the swing reaches a full size.
Yes. In the European system the size equals the circumference in millimetres. A 54 mm circumference is size 54, which is a 17.2 mm inner diameter.
Yes. A band wider than 6 mm sits tighter because it touches more of the finger. Take half a size up from the measurement.
Measure the knuckle and the base of the finger separately, then pick a value in between. The ring has to pass the knuckle without spinning loosely at the base.
Usually yes, but not always invisibly. On a ring set with stones all around, or engraved inside, resizing means touching the decoration. Settling the size before making it is the safer route.
No. The whole analysis runs in your browser, in a separate worker thread. The file is not uploaded to any server, we do not store it and we have no access to it. You can verify this: disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works. One exception is worth knowing: if you came here from the configurator, the model travelled to this tab through your browser's own storage, so you would not have to upload it twice. That record sits on your disk, we delete it the moment it is read and it expires after fifteen minutes.
One path is 0.4 mm and that much will print. A functional wall wants two paths, about 0.84 mm, because a single path has no cross-binding and cracks under pressure. Below 0.4 mm the printer has nothing to lay down and a hole is left. Context matters: lettering, texture or a chamfer below the threshold is not a wall and we do not treat it as a defect. Such detail simply comes out rounded.
Yes, the minimum drops to 0.2 mm and a safe wall to about 0.42 mm. The price rises, because the same part needs more paths and more layers, so printing takes several times longer. Below roughly 0.3 mm of detail, resin usually makes more sense.
That the surface has holes: edges where the neighbouring face is missing. A handful of those is everyday life in CAD exports and modern slicers repair them silently, so we do not make an obstacle of it. It is worth knowing all the same, because the volume we price from is then approximate. One-click repair: Meshmixer, Blender (3D Print Toolbox) or the repair function in PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio. A file where the boundary makes up a large share of the edges is a different matter: that is a surface rather than a solid and cannot be printed.
Only in the three cases where no print can result: the model does not fit the plate even rotated, the file holds a surface rather than a closed solid, or the majority of the model is thinner than one path at the chosen settings. Everything else, including thin walls on part of a model and small mesh gaps, is information and blocks nothing. A tool that rejects sound models is worse than no tool.
Because the answer would be wrong, and that is worse than no answer. The measuring ray leaves the surface, travels into the material and looks for the other side. At a hole it escapes and hits a random wall on the far side of the model, reporting a thickness many times the real one.
Either scale it down, or split it and bond the parts after printing. Splitting is not a failure, it is standard on large objects, but the cut is worth placing so the seam falls on an edge rather than a visible face. Write to us and we will suggest where.
No, but it costs. Support consumes material and time, and leaves a mark that has to be cleaned up. Above roughly a third of the surface it is worth checking whether rotating the model, or splitting it in two, gives a better result for less.
No. It describes geometry, not how the material behaves: shrinkage, warping, bed adhesion, the springiness of thin features. For unusual shapes, and for detail sitting exactly on the threshold, get in touch and we will check it on the machine.
Between 70 and 90% of the metal value. In 585 gold the metal value is 58.5% of the price of pure gold per gram, so a buyer pays roughly 41 to 53% of the 999 gold price. The exact rate depends on the size of the lot and on whether the buyer has to verify the purity first.
No. A buyer purchases metal, and stones are ballast that has to be removed. Cubic zirconia is usually lost. A diamond, sapphire or emerald of any real size is worth removing and valuing separately, because it can be worth more than the whole setting.
14 karat. Fineness states the pure gold content in thousandths, karat in twenty-fourths. 585 thousandths is 58.5%, and 14 parts out of 24 is 58.3%, so both numbers describe the same alloy.
A missing stamp does not mean it is not gold, but you cannot establish the fineness by eye. A jeweler or a buyer will test it with a touchstone and acids or with an XRF spectrometer, usually free of charge and without damaging the piece. Only with that result does the calculator mean anything.
At the same fineness, yes. The colour comes from the alloying metals, which do not matter for valuation. White gold 585 holds exactly as much pure gold as yellow 585. Rhodium plating adds no value.
Not always. Signed, pre-war or simply intact and attractive pieces can be worth several times the metal value on the secondary market. Selling by weight makes sense for damaged, bent and odd single pieces that nobody would buy as jewelry.
Yes, and it often works out better. We accept metal you supply, melt it down and make a new piece from it. You then pay for the work and any material shortfall, instead of losing both the buyer's margin and the margin on buying new gold.
It is the reduction in metal dimensions as it solidifies inside the casting mould, after melting and filling the cavity left by the burned-out or dissolved pattern. The effect is most visible on precise elements like bands or stone settings.
Every alloy has a different metal composition (Au, Ag, Cu, Zn and other additions), which changes its solidification temperature and the density difference between liquid and solid states. That is why Ag 925, Au 9K, Au 14K (585) and Au 18K each shrink by a different amount.
Model or import the pattern at the final target dimension, then scale it uniformly (Scale, not per-axis) by the factor for the chosen alloy, e.g. x1.016 for Ag 925. Print the result as a castable pattern and send it for casting.
Standard resin is hard but brittle, great for visual models and figurines where detail matters more than impact resistance. ABS-like resin has toughness similar to ABS plastic and does not crack under bending or snap-fits, so it is chosen for housings and mechanical parts that need to survive real loads.
No, it is simply a different trade-off. Water replaces isopropyl alcohol for washing, which is more convenient and cheaper at home, but the print can be slightly less moisture resistant than an IPA-washed print, so parts exposed to humidity are better made from the IPA version.
Castable resin (e.g. BlueCast X-One) burns out with no ash residue during lost-resin casting, so the pattern disappears without contaminating the mould. The high price comes from the precise chemical formula needed for clean burnout, this is a resin for jewelers casting signet rings and solid forms, not for everyday printing.
Standard visual figurines are fine with Standard or Water-washable resin. If you need maximum micro-detail, openwork and thin features on a 16K printer, choose High-precision 14K resin, it has minimal shrinkage and the highest reproduction resolution.
It depends on the resin segment. Standard visual resins are hard but brittle and can crack on impact, so they are not suited to functional parts. Technical resins like Tough or ABS-like are much stronger mechanically and, once properly UV-cured, work well for functional prototypes and wear parts.
Yes. Pillar 2 (castable 16K patterns) can be ordered on its own, we ship the finished pattern to your foundry.
By default yes, AEJaCA maker's mark plus a report to the Polish Assay Office. By arrangement we can hand over an unmarked piece, the reporting obligation then passes to you.
